Questions

How does JomSponsor check a transfer receipt?

When a payer attaches a photo or screenshot of their transfer receipt, JomSponsor reads it (free text recognition, OCR) and checks the amount, the date, the account number, the account name and the bank against your page's own bank details, and whether the same receipt was sent before. The committee sees a ✓ or ⚠ for each. On Basic the committee approves it; on Premium a matching receipt (up to a limit you set) goes on the page by itself. A receipt can be edited, so check your bank account now and then.

Can donors pay online in seconds?

Yes, with Premium: donors tap Donate, enter an amount and pay by FPX online banking or card. The money goes straight into your own Billplz, Bayarcash or senangPay account, and they're on your page right away with an automatic receipt and thank-you card. No transfer, no screenshot, no upload.

Why should donors trust our page?

Send us your registration (SSM, ROS, JAIS or a school letter) and we'll check it. Your page then shows a ✓ Verified organiser badge. Money never passes through JomSponsor; it goes straight to your organisation.

How do sponsors pay?

Always straight to your organisation, never to us. Either they transfer using your QR code or bank details and send the receipt on your page for you to approve, or, with Premium, they pay online by FPX or card into your own Billplz, Bayarcash or senangPay account.

Can sponsors register themselves?

Yes. They fill in their name, logo, links and amount on your page. New sponsors wait for your Approve before they appear. Paying again with the same email adds to their total, and a company that pledged is matched by its email.

Do sponsors and donors get a thank-you?

Yes, automatically. After every successful payment we email a thank-you card in your colours with all your sponsors' logos. You can also send it on WhatsApp in one tap, or turn the emails off.

What happens when my page expires?

The public page goes offline, but your data stays in your dashboard. You can extend it any time, or export everything to Excel.

Can I edit after publishing?

Yes, as often as you like. Changes appear on the live page instantly.

Who can see my page before I publish?

Only you, when signed in.

Will lots of people see the sponsors?

As many as you share it with. There's no magic audience, but the page, the thank-you cards and WhatsApp Status take sponsors' logos to your members and their groups, and that's the audience sponsors care about.
